We want you to be completely satisfied with Pictova. Our subscription refund policy is designed to be fair and transparent.
7-Day Money-Back Guarantee
First-time subscribers can request a full refund within 7 days of their initial subscription. This applies to both monthly and annual plans.
- • Only applies to first-time subscriptions
- • Must be requested within 7 days of purchase
- • Full refund processed to original payment method
Cancellation Policy (Monthly Plans)
You can cancel your monthly subscription at any time. When you cancel:
- • You retain full access until the end of your current billing period
- • No refund is provided for the current billing period (after 7-day guarantee)
- • Unused credits from your plan are forfeited at the end of the period
- • Credit packs purchased separately never expire
Pro-Rated Refunds (Annual Plans Only)
Annual subscribers have additional flexibility: If you request a refund for an annual subscription after the 7-day guarantee period:
- • We calculate the unused portion of your subscription (months remaining)
- • Refund is based on the standard monthly rate of your plan
- • The annual discount you received is deducted from the refund
- • Any credits you've used are also deducted from the refund
- • Example: Paid $276/year for Pro ($23/month with discount). Cancel after 6 months with 25% credits used = Refund: (6 months × $29 standard rate) - (25% × $276) = $180 - $69 = $111
Note: Monthly subscriptions are not eligible for pro-rated refunds after the 7-day guarantee period.
Credit Pack Refunds
Credit packs are one-time purchases that provide credits which never expire. Due to their nature, our refund policy for credit packs is different from subscriptions.
Non-Refundable Policy
Credit pack purchases are non-refundable once completed. This policy exists because:
- • Credits never expire and provide permanent value
- • Credits are immediately available for use upon purchase
- • The flexible nature of credit packs (use them whenever you want)
We recommend starting with a smaller credit pack if you're unsure about your usage needs.
Refund Exceptions
While our standard policies apply in most cases, we understand that exceptional circumstances may arise. We may consider refund requests outside our standard policy in specific situations.
Eligible Exceptions
- • Service outages preventing credit usage
- • Technical bugs affecting your account
- • Duplicate or erroneous charges
- • Fraudulent or unauthorized purchases
Proof Required
- • Screenshots of errors or issues
- • Detailed explanation of the problem
- • Timeline of when issues occurred
- • Documentation of attempts to resolve
How to Request an Exception
Contact our support team at support@pictova.ai with detailed documentation of your issue. We review exception requests on a case-by-case basis and will respond within the timeframe based on your plan tier.
Disputes & Chargebacks
All payments are processed through our payment provider, Polar.sh. If you have a billing dispute, please contact us first before initiating a chargeback.
Dispute Process
If you believe you've been charged incorrectly:
- Contact support@pictova.ai with details of the charge
- We'll investigate and respond within your plan's support timeframe
- If resolved, refunds are processed to your original payment method
- Disputes are handled in accordance with Polar.sh policies
Chargeback Policy
Initiating a chargeback without contacting us first may result in:
- • Immediate account suspension pending investigation
- • Requirement to prove you did not use the service or credits
- • No refund if evidence shows service/credits were used
- • Permanent account termination for fraudulent chargebacks

Once a refund is approved, processing times vary based on your payment method and financial institution.
Processing Timeline
- Approval:Within 1-3 business days (varies by plan tier)
- Processing:3-5 business days to initiate refund
- Bank posting:5-10 business days (depends on your bank)
Refund Method
All refunds are processed to the original payment method used for purchase. We cannot issue refunds to different cards, accounts, or payment methods.
